PR Agency One wins Stokes Sauces consumer PR brief after competitive pitch
The Manchester-headquartered agency will run the premium condiment brand’s first long-term consumer PR programme.
Manchester-headquartered PR Agency One has won a competitive pitch to lead premium condiment brand Stokes Sauces’ first long-term consumer PR programme.
Stokes, founded by Rick Sheepshanks, wants to reach more premium shoppers, build its reputation and support its growth in retail.
The agency will create and run creative campaigns alongside an ongoing press office across national, food and lifestyle media, aimed at introducing the brand to more consumers. The programme is also intended to lay the groundwork for future above-the-line marketing.
Its own OneEval measurement framework will be used to monitor brand awareness and gauge how the programme performs over time, rather than simply counting coverage.
Stokes joins the agency’s growing roster of food and drink clients, which also counts Cake Box and Ambala as clients.
PR Agency One associate director Abigail Outhwaite said: “Stokes has all the ingredients of a strong consumer brand: exceptional products, a distinctive point of difference and an extremely loyal following. Stokes Sauces is committed to taste without compromise, using only real, high-quality ingredients, and the products speak for themselves. Our role is to introduce the brand to more shoppers through creative storytelling, while demonstrating how sustained PR contributes to long-term brand growth.”
Sheepshanks said: “We were looking for an agency that understood long-term brand building rather than short-term publicity. PR Agency One combined strong fast-moving consumer goods credentials with a clear understanding of how to measure communications effectiveness, giving us confidence that the programme will support our ambitions for the brand.”
PR Agency One, which has offices in Manchester and London, works as a multi-specialist agency focused on creative effectiveness.
