marco/richards hired by Peter Barry Surveyors for PR and digital PR
The Manchester agency will raise the Kensington-based surveying firm’s profile in the media and in Google and AI search.
Manchester PR agency marco/richards has won a brief from Peter Barry Surveyors to run traditional and digital PR.
The agency will work with the surveyor’s leadership team to raise its profile with national and regional media and the property trade press. It will also run digital PR campaigns so the firm shows up more often in Google and AI search.
Set up in 1983, the firm of chartered building surveyors is based in Kensington and has further offices across London and the South East.
Its team of chartered surveyors and RICS Registered Valuers works with homeowners, buyers and landlords on issues such as party walls, Level 2 and Level 3 RICS home surveys, lease extensions, freehold purchases and property valuations.
The campaign will use that expertise to produce news stories, expert comment and practical advice on everyday property problems.
Peter Barry Surveyors director Justin Burns said: “For more than 40 years we have given straightforward, expert advice to people dealing with complex property matters across London and the South East.
“There is a huge amount of knowledge across our team and we want more homeowners, landlords and buyers to know they can come to us for help.
“We were impressed by marco/richards’ understanding of the property sector and the way its team combines traditional media coverage with digital PR. We are really looking forward to working with them.”
marco/richards was launched in 2013 by Martin Coutts and David Richards, both formerly national newspaper journalists. It has teams in Manchester and London and provides traditional and digital PR and reputation management to UK and European businesses.
Coutts, co-founder and director, said: “We are delighted to be working with Peter Barry Surveyors, a well-established business with a wealth of expertise.
“Property affects almost everyone, whether you are buying a home, extending a lease or planning building work. There is a real opportunity to turn the company’s specialist knowledge into useful, interesting stories that journalists want to cover.
“Our focus will be on delivering strong national and property trade coverage alongside digital PR campaigns that help more people find the firm when they search on Google or ask an AI assistant for advice.”
