Orange Campers wins Made in Britain marketing award as YouTube views pass 650,000
The Rotherham campervan converter took Marketing Campaign of the Year for activity that combined video, digital ads and customer events.
Orange Campers, a campervan conversion specialist in Rotherham, has picked up a national marketing award for a campaign mixing video, digital advertising and customer events, which the company says has put it on track for 34% annual revenue growth.
The business took the Marketing Campaign of the Year title at the Made in Britain Impact Awards 2026 in Worcestershire on 4 November.
Its YouTube channel pulled in more than 650,000 views during the year, a rise of more than 325%, with video central to reaching potential buyers.
Judges commended the way the company combined digital advertising, video and customer engagement, pointing to both its commercial results and its success in building long-term relationships with customers.
Orange Campers also ran its own events programme, bringing owners and enthusiasts together and giving prospective customers the chance to find out more about its vehicles.
Director Sonya Tomlin said: “Thank you so much for this prestigious award. It’s an emotional moment for us because my husband Richard and I started Orange Campers with a shared vision of bringing our love of campervanning to others. Richard’s first campervan was an orange VW, and that passion has stayed with us ever since, inspiring us to build the very best campervans we can, with practicality and quality at their heart.”
She added: “For us, marketing has always been about sharing our family story honestly and warmly with prospective customers, showing them the people and passion behind the business. To have that approach recognised with this award means an enormous amount to us, and I’d like to thank our fantastic team, our wonderful community and, of course, our customers for being part of our journey.”
Made in Britain chief executive John Pearce said: “Orange Campers has achieved some outstanding results through a marketing strategy that puts its customers at the heart of the business. The company has clearly invested considerable thought and effort into understanding its audience and finding creative ways to reach people who share its enthusiasm for campervans.”
He continued: “The projected revenue growth is particularly impressive, and it’s encouraging to see a smaller British manufacturer achieving this level of commercial success through its own marketing activities.”
CoCo Wolf Outdoor Furniture was runner-up and WinManERP was highly commended in the category, which was sponsored by Navigate B2B Marketing.
The awards, which are in their fifth year, are organised by not-for-profit trade organisation Made in Britain, which is behind the trademark for British-made goods.
