Erling Haaland in Budweiser’s Let It Pour campaign

Budweiser has enlisted Erling Haaland and Jürgen Klopp to front Let It Pour, its campaign for the World Cup.

The AB InBev beer brand will run the campaign in more than 40 countries during the tournament as it aims to strengthen its position as the drink of choice for sporting events.

Alongside a film, the campaign includes the launch of The Bud Fan Store and Bud FC, described as a “global experiential platform”.

In the spot, Klopp tries to stay dry as fans celebrate around him with beers in hand. Haaland poses for a photobooth picture with a fan before inviting his father, former Norway international Alfie Haaland, to join them.

“For over four decades, Budweiser has been part of the celebrations that define the Fifa World Cup, be it on the pitch, in bars, or wherever fans come together,” said Richard Oppy, global president, premium company at AB InBev. “‘Let It Pour’ is our invitation to consumers to fully embrace those moments.”

Haaland said: “In my first Fifa World Cup, I’ll be leaving everything on the pitch, so Budweiser’s ‘Let It Pour’ campaign really hits home because it reflects exactly how I feel heading into the tournament.”

“I’ve dreamed of representing my country on this stage my entire life and now that it’s here, it’s an incredible honour,” he added.
