Bedkingdom moves beyond the bedroom in Supersonic TV and radio campaign
The West Yorkshire retailer’s ad was produced by MediaCity’s Chief, with music from fellow MediaCity agency Gas.
West Yorkshire retailer Bedkingdom is launching a TV and radio campaign this weekend as it seeks to be known for more than beds.
The work was created by Supersonic and produced by Chief, based at MediaCity, with music from Gas, another MediaCity agency.
The ad sets out to present Bedkingdom as somewhere to buy furniture for every room in the house, not only the bedroom.
“This campaign celebrates the idea that everyone’s home is their kingdom, and no two are the same,” said Levon Hall, COO of Bedkingdom.
“We wanted to show the breadth of our range in a way that feels modern and stylish, and it’s great to have worked with a fellow northern business. SUPERSONIC has delivered a campaign with real flair.”
The 30-second TV spot will premiere on ITV during James Martin’s Saturday Morning.
Supersonic, which is based in Manchester and Leeds, said the ad had a “fashion-shoot swagger”, with a cast of characters “each in their own kingdom.”
It was directed by Olivier Richomme, and media is handled by Media Performance.
