The SEO Works builds new website for air ambulance provider Elroy AirMed
The Yorkshire agency rebuilt the aeromedical retrieval firm's site on WordPress blocks, with new visual motifs, fresh copy and upgraded security.
Elroy AirMed, which provides air ambulance medical transport worldwide, has launched a new website designed and built by digital agency The SEO Works.
Elroy AirMed began in the UK and provides specialist aeromedical retrieval services around the world. It needed a site that reflected its work and its experienced team.
The brief called for a website that was ready for SEO, modern, faithful to the brand and protected against cyberattacks.
The SEO Works redesigned the site from scratch and created a brochure platform setting out Elroy AirMed's services. Clear calls to action were a priority, so visitors can send enquiries easily.
Graham Jones, The SEO Works' head of web, said the build had three main areas of focus.
“Firstly, we focused on flexibility and future expansion. Rebuilding the site with WordPress Gutenberg blocks gives the team full control over their content without restrictive themes. This makes ongoing management straightforward and allows new pages to be created with ease,” he said.
“Secondly, we focused on brand identity. This project’s web designer, Jake, created custom digital motifs, including topographic contour lines, textured imagery, and a crosshair icon, giving the site a distinct visual style. We also resolved thin content issues by managing copywriting and sourcing professional images.
“Thirdly, to ensure the site is secure, we upgraded security plugins to protect against potential cyber attacks.”
Gina Heffernan, Elroy AirMed's head of commercial, said: “We at Elroy AirMed are delighted with our redesigned website. We wanted a fresh, modern look and to take full advantage of WordPress’s latest capabilities.”
She said the site, which runs on the latest WordPress release and its block-based editor, presents the brand in a contemporary and professional way and works across all device types. She credited the design and development teams with producing a site that is visually engaging and full of useful features.
The launch adds to The SEO Works' portfolio of custom WordPress builds, which includes sites for Modulek, GeoPura and Simbec-Orion.
