Apprentify named fastest-growing apprenticeship provider after 3,000% rise in turnover

Apprentify, the digital and technology apprenticeship provider headquartered in Wilmslow, is the fastest-growing apprenticeship provider in the 2026 UK Fast Growth Index.

It is the third time the company has made the index, following appearances in 2023 and 2025.

Turnover reached £19 million in 2025, up from £602,000 in 2020, a rise of more than 3,000% over five years.

That makes the business over thirty times larger than it was in 2020, the equivalent of turnover doubling every year on average across the period.

Founded in 2018, Apprentify has grown by concentrating on the skills employers struggle most to hire for. Its training covers AI, data, digital marketing, IT and software, sales and leadership development, so that employers across England can train the staff they need to compete.

The company has grown organically and through acquisitions, turning a single provider into a group. Apprentify founded the Apprentify Group, which now has six specialist training brands and bases in London, Manchester, Birmingham, Wilmslow and Tadcaster.

It employs around 250 people. Department for Education provider data gives it an “Excellent” rating from employers, based on 56 reviews, indicating that rapid growth has not hurt quality.

The index’s founder, Professor Dylan Jones-Evans OBE, said: “Growing more than thirty-fold in just five years would be remarkable in any sector, but it’s exceptional in apprenticeships, where quality is closely scrutinised and growth depends on earning the trust of employers.”
