Area 23’s ‘The Unnoticed Sponsorship’ named most-awarded campaign of 2025
The work for Instituto Melanoma Brasil won across social purpose, PR and experiential categories, ahead of Nutter Butter and Liming with Gran.
The Unnoticed Sponsorship, created by Area 23 for Brazilian health and research centre Instituto Melanoma Brasil, has been named the most-awarded campaign in the world in 2025, in a year-end ranking based on a global awards programme.
The ranking covers traditional campaigns and every other type of marketing work, drawing on results from the programme’s regional shows in EMEA, APAC and the Americas and its global awards festival in London last month.
The campaign performed strongly across different categories and different shows, reflecting a broad, interdisciplinary strategy. Its wins included awards in social purpose, PR and experiential.
Area 23 had already been named the world’s top network agency in the same set of rankings.
Second place is shared by ‘Nutter Butter, You Good?’ and Liming with Gran for the University of Cambridge and Genomics England, which won six and seven awards respectively. Another Area 23 campaign, for Gavião Kyikatêjê Football Club, came a close fourth.
Category-level campaign rankings and lists of the most-awarded individuals are due to follow.
