Cybersecurity recruiter Hubscale moves into bigger Manchester HQ
The executive search specialist has moved to Tower 12 in Spinningfields and expects revenues of £3.75m for 2025, more than double last year's figure.
Global cybersecurity recruitment and executive search firm Hubscale has moved into larger headquarters in Manchester city centre.
The business has relocated to Tower 12, Spinningfields, having outgrown its previous offices in Hardman Square. The new space can hold 30 staff, giving Hubscale room to double its Manchester headcount, which has risen from four to 18 over the past 18 months.
Earlier this year the company also opened an office in Austin, Texas, which currently employs five people.
Hubscale hires globally across a range of business functions for cybersecurity firms looking to grow and scale, with a focus on areas including product and technology, enterprise security and go-to-market strategy.
An executive search division handles vice-president to C-suite appointments for businesses from start-ups to large established vendors.
Clients are spread across the UK, the US and the EMEA and Asia-Pacific regions, and include venture capital and private equity firms building executive teams for their portfolio companies.
For the year to December 2025 the firm expects to report revenues of £3.75m, more than twice the £1.58m it generated in 2024.
Elliott White, who set up the business in June 2022, co-owns Hubscale with fellow director Elliott Fielding, who came on board in July 2023. Between them they have more than 14 years’ experience in the sector.
White said: “We’ve tripled the size of the Manchester team since January this year, and we will be making further appointments in the coming months. By the end of 2025, we aim to have 30 staff in total across our offices.”
He continued: “We pride ourselves on supporting clients to build the teams they need to grow and scale by delivering the right talent across numerous business functions, with executive search as a big pillar of our operations. We have long-term partnerships with our clients, who trust us to find the right candidates.
“The sector is expanding rapidly, fuelled by several major factors. There is rising demand for security talent amid increasing threats, and vendors are looking to strengthen their technical and commercial teams in line with this trend. New regulations around data protection and software security are driving urgent hiring across governance, risk and compliance functions and, as businesses move to the cloud and adopt SaaS models, there is a surge in demand for sales, marketing and leadership roles that can take these solutions to market.”
White said the shift towards remote and global workforces means customers can now draw on wider talent pools, which has created intense competition for the strongest candidates.
“The United States remains the most competitive market, with vendors scaling quickly and looking for leaders who can drive their growth,” he said. “We are helping clients build high-performing teams that give them a competitive edge in a crowded space. Our mantra is to be the number one at everything we do.”
