Soma hires Chorley agency TWA Marketing to launch vibroacoustic yoga mat
The wellness tech brand’s first product, the Soma Sound Mat, is moving from beta testing to launch.
Wellness technology business Soma has brought in TWA Marketing for the launch of its first product, a “vibroacoustic” mat for yoga and exercise.
The Chorley agency will handle PR and digital marketing for the Soma Sound Mat, building awareness and driving traffic as it moves out of beta testing and into launch.
The mat uses low-frequency vibration “to support recovery, sleep and stress reduction.” Soma says those claims are backed by 250 beta-testers who have been using it ahead of release.
“We’re really excited to be working with Soma at such an important stage in the brand’s journey. Our immediate focus will be on building awareness and momentum around the launch, getting the Soma Sound Mat in front of the right consumer audiences, while also opening up wider B2B opportunities for the brand,” said Sally Mackrill, director and co-owner of TWA Marketing.
“There’s real potential for Soma across hospitality, spas, health clubs and corporate wellbeing.”
Aaron Seager, managing director of Soma, said: “This is an important moment for Soma as we move toward launch. We’ve built a product we truly believe in and have a global patent for, and TWA‘s experience and understanding of the wellness market gives us real confidence in how we share our story. It is great to have them on board.”
